Hermano has been affiliated with Arlon since 2013 through Araguaia Capital Partners (Araguaia), Arlon's exclusive representative in Latin America. Previously, Hermano co-founded a search fund in 2011, where he pursued investments in small-cap companies in Brazil, including food and agriculture opportunities. Hermano also spent four years as an investment officer for Advent International, pursuing investments in various sectors in Brazil. He began his career in 2004 working at the Investment Banking divisions of ABN Amro and then Citigroup, both based in São Paulo. Hermano received his BA in business management from Fundação Getulio Vargas – EAESP with honors and was awarded as a top student in finance and his MBA from INSEAD. Hermano is a Brazilian national and is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, English and French.
